FoodFit is a new program designed to bring people together to set goals, learn skills, and make measurable changes in overall health and fitness, with a focus on nutrition and exercise. Over the course of 12 weeks, participants cook, learn about nutrition, and participate in at least 30 minutes of walking or other physical activity. FoodFit expands our ability to impact healthy changes, and is designed to break down social barriers that pose significant challenges to achieving optimal health and wellness. FoodFit classes start again in January 2017, with two evening class options. Since space is limited, please call Thressa at 403 320 8779 or [email protected] to register. Everyone welcome! Priority is given to those who self-identify as a low income household.
