A non-profit organization committed to teaching sportsmanship and basketball skills to children and youth through coach mentored practice and competition.
The Lethbridge Minor Basketball Association (LMBA) was founded in 2007 to develop interest and skills in the sport of basketball in Southern Alberta. LMBA operates in partnership with Basketball Alberta to provide JR NBA, Steve Nash Youth Basketball (SNYB) and Superleague Basketball to children and youth. We also operate Boys and Girls Club basketball teams for the spring tournament season in the U11 and U13 categories. Steve Nash and Superleague run from early January until the end of March. All practice and league games will be played at schools in Lethbridge. Club basketball begins near the end of February and continues until the middle of June. We are always looking for enthusiastic volunteers to coach, referee, score, and time keep. Application forms will be available at registration.
