Dragon Boat

Join this group of all ages and all abilities as they paddle dragonboats on Henderson Lake from spring to fall.

Our Mission: “For Rotary to provide the opportunity to gather, participate and work together to promote community through the sport of dragon boating while building friendships.” This premiere event was initiated by all Rotary Clubs in Lethbridge and started with 17 crews on a windy June weekend in 2002. Our Festival has grown exponentially over the years; in 2013 we had 62 crews competing, 26 from out of town, 45 mixed, 16 women’s, 1 youth, and 5 breast cancer crews.
