The Fruit Rescue Program (FRP) is part of the non-profit organization Lethbridge Sustainable Living Association. The FRP seeks to reduce the amount of unharvested, unused apples and fruit from other trees in the Lethbridge area by maintaining a list of tree owners who have excess harvest or are unable to pick the fruit. The list is then shared with people who would like to pick fruit and arrange a time to do so with a tree owner. The FRP and the Lethbridge Sustainable Living Association also hold events where people can bring their apples to be made into apple juice. Email us for more information and to sign up.
