Are you 55 years or older? Are you interested in learning about your nutrition? Alberta Health Services (AHS) Nutrition Services and the University of Alberta (U of A) are inviting older adults to participate in this exciting new survey and share their experiences.
Alberta Health Services (AHS) Nutrition Services and the University of Alberta have developed an online nutrition survey designed to help Albertans understand their nutritional habits, offer tips for staying healthy, and provide access to community services for support. AHS Nutrition Services and the U of A are excited to pilot and evaluate the experience of using the online SCREEN-14 tool. This tool can help Albertans understand their nutrition, provide tips and resources to stay healthy, and offer information about community services for support. Currently, the SCREEN-14 tool is live on a secure pilot web application, with the goal to integrate this user-friendly tool into the AHS website after the pilot.
SCREEN-14 contains 14 questions about nutrition risk and one additional question about access to food. After completing the screen, users will receive their nutrition risk score, tailored messages to improve their score, and nutrition handouts. Users will then have an opportunity to share their experience with SCREEN-14 in a separate, optional evaluation.
Take the survey and share your experience. Visit: redcap.link/SCREEN-14
Together, we can make a difference in the health and well-being of Albertans!
